Industrial Basework

All of our 'Industrial Buildings' require a concrete foundation.

We suggest the standard base specification to be as follows:

A concete foundation, 150mm thick, deepening to 300mm around the perimiter, laid on a bed of 150mm of hardcore. The base to be re-inforced with steel mesh, and be laid on a damp proof membrane.

This is only a guideline. The actual specification depends upon local ground conditions, and your relevant building control department will need to approve the foundation specification.
