In the majority of cases, planning permission is not required for concrete sectional buildings as they are deemed temporary structures.
However, this does not mean that your building does not need planning or building regulations. In all cases, we recommend that you consult your local planning office to find out what permissions, if any, are required.
White Rose Buildings Limited can in no way be held responsible for buildings erected without the relevant approvals.
As a guide you may need planning permission if your proposed building falls into one or more of the following categories:
• The building goes beyond the front elevation of the house (unless you have a large front garden).
• More than half of the area of your garden is covered by the proposed building.
• The buildings is more than 3m high or 4m for an Apex roof.
• The proposed building is within 1m of your existing house wall.
You may need building regulations approval if :
• The floor area of the proposed building is more that 30 square metres.
• The cubic area of the building is more than 70 square metres.
if planning permission is required we can supply garage plans free of charge. |
