Carillion PLC.

This project was a replacement battery of 7 garages as part of the construction of a new hospital in Bristol. The customer required the maintenance free plastic coated steel fascia's, steel roof sheets with anti-condensation lining, extra security locking bars and integral guttering. The batteries were built on the original base and the project was completed in less than one week.

Double apex garage.

This garage was required at the rear of the customers house where space was at a premium but a large double garage and base was required. The base needed to be built up slightly to ensure that it was higher than the land around it, to avoid ingress of water. The garage was to be used to house a racing car and trailer. The building was supplied with a sectional door, as the room for the opening of an up and over door was tight. We also supplied an electrically operated door, and carried out the works for the supply of electrics in the building. Due to the size of building and extra height, the steel roof trusses were erected on steel legs for extra strength..

York University Robot Lab.

We were given the task to supply a new robot lab for the university. This was a large project, with White Rose responsible as main contractor for the full works, including foundations, main structure, internals and full M&E specification. The project was completed from start to finish in 14 weeks, 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This development was particularly difficult, as the full design and specification was agreed as the project developed. The end result was a stunning building internally, which had a public viewing area and a workshop all with excellent views of the main robot arena.

Royal garage, removal of old garage and base extension.

On this project the customer wanted to maximise the space between his existing garage and the neighbour’s garage. As the existing base was sound, we removed the old building and extended the concrete so the new building utilised all the available space. The new garage was supplied as a Royale specification, with the Brown brick front posts that matched the existing house bricks.

Lean to replacement garage.

This project required the removal of the existing lean to structure and laying a new concrete foundation. The new lean to was then erected, with a brick front post to match the existing structure, and a brown up and over door.

Bespoke building for charging golf trolleys.

We were asked to supply a building that could house the golfer’s electric buggies at the course. We laid the concrete foundation and supplied a building with PVC fascia’s so it would be maintenance free. Each trolley has its own space, with timber kick boards so it cannot hit the external panels. There is a battery charging point for each trolley.

Bespoke double garage in a conservation area.

This double garage was supplied in an area where planning laws dictated a special garage. It had to be timber clad and also required a special door. We finished the building with plain panels so the customer could clad them in a ship lap timber. We also supplied a timber front and a double garage door, finished in Black. This ensured that the customer had a building that complied with the local authority guidelines in a special area of green belt land.

Complete New Garage - Supplied & Installed

The existing garage with a Pent roof was dismantled and removed from site. The existing concrete foundation was acceptable for the new garage without any further works. The new garage was assembled with PVC fascia’s and window as an extra to give the customer a maintenance free building. The garage was supplied 12’3” wide so that the customer could get his car in and have space at either side to move around freely.

Refurbishment of a fire damaged double garage

This garage had been vandalised and was in need of full refurbishment. The garage was stripped back to the concrete shell and we fitted new steel roof trusses, followed by timber fascias and roof timbers. New windows, front posts, the rest of the fascias, roof and doors were then fitted to complete the project.

Refurbishment of single pent roof garage

This garage suffered from a leaking asbestos roof, rotten timber work and a door that was broken. The roof, timber fascias, side door, window and up and over door were all replaced to transform the garage back to its former glory.

Old garage replaced with new pent garage

This project required the old timber and felt roofed garage to be dismantled and removed from site. The existing base was then broken up and removed using a heavy duty breaker and a bobcat. The new base was then shuttered up and the sub foundation of 100mm compacted hard core was laid. The 100mm solid concrete foundation was then laid, including a ramp to the front of the base.

Garage lined out internally

This project was a new Apex garage that we delivered and built. Following delivery, we returned to line the building out internally for the customer. This involved inserting a 2" x 2" timber stud wall which was fixed through the pre drilled holes in the concrete panels and also fixed through the concrete floor. The frame was then filled internally with 50mm rock wool insulation. To finish the lining out on the garage a 6mm exterior plywood board was fixed directly to the timber frame.

Large garage refurbishment

This was a large existing double garage that required a full refurbishement. The existing two single up and over doors at the front were replaced with a large 14ft wide up and over door. The front was completed by fitting brick front posts to match the existing house, with the timber fascias renewed. The roof, windows and side door were all replced to complete the transormation - the customer can now refurbish his classic cars in a dry environment!

Replacement apex single garage.

This job required the removal of the old asbestos garage. The old base required excavation and relaying. The new garage was then erected following the required curing time for the concrete base. This was the standard apex garage with timber fascia’s and window.

This garage project required the removal of the old garage, laying of a new concrete foundation, then the supply of the new garage. This was an apex roof building, with the addition of PVC woodgrain fascia’s, brick front posts and a brown door.

Battery of garages for local authority

We are undertaking works to remove and replace batteries of garages for our local authority. These garages are completed in phases. White Rose Buildings have just completed a site with 36 buildings on, another with 4 buildings and one with 5 buildings. He batteries are very secure, with extra locking system on the doors, plastic coated steel fascia's and roofs, integral guttering, and finished in Brown for anti-vandalism purposes.

Refurbishment of pent garage

This old garage was in a poor state of repair, but the concrete panels and roof trusses were fine. We replaced all the fascia's with PVC options, up and over door, front posts and roof sheets. The finished product could easily be mistaken for a brand new garage. The down side to this job was the snow, ice and wind – it was completed within one day.
