This project undertaken recently involved a new concrete base and concrete garage. The customer chose the very popular Apex Royale Concrete Garage building, which boasts brick front posts, Georgian door, PVC fascia’s and window, steel personnel door, coloured roof sheets, guttering and an internal cement fillet.
The benefit of this garage is that you can choose the colour of the brick posts, roof sheets and guttering to match your existing property.
This particular garage was 16’1” x 9’3” in size. The customer chose the wider 8ft door as they were putting the car in on a regular basis.
As the building was fitted behind the front elevation of the house and is under 2.5m, it is deemed permitted development, therefore not requiring planning permission or building regulations. The client chose to fit the building tight to the property boundary, therefore keeping an access between the house and garage to get bins etc through to the back garden.
