As pictured last month, we have renovated an old block of 21 garages for a housing association. The new garages are now more secure, dry and fit for purpose, they can now be used by the tenants.
We are in the process of renovating a site of old concrete garages for a housing association. We are replacing the old asbestos roofs, trusses, front posts, doors and fascia’s.
There are 21 garages in total, finished pictures to appear next month.
We are now supplying all of our Hormann steel personnel doors with extra secure 3-point locking as standard and also a new thicker overlapping steel frame that cuts out the need for a timber sub frame.
We undertook a full landscaping job on this project. Changing the access and position of the garage we carried out all the works, fencing, block paving, turfed lawn, edgings, base and garage including electrical works.
The garage supplied was the top of the range Apex Royale, which had a 30% discount at the time of ordering.
We often get asked what does the inside of the garage look like. We visited a recently built garage and discovered the customer had made the back wall into a kitchen, painted the floor and walls and installed shelving and lighting.
We think they made a very good job of the work too!

We have completed the latest batch of local authority works, again on schedule.
We completed three sites in total, the largest site required a full new tarmac forecourt.
The old garages were removed including the safe dispersal of the asbestos, new concrete bases laid before fitting the new maintenance free concrete battery garages.
White Rose have started a new local authority project which requires the demolition of 25 old garages on different sites, new concrete foundations and replacing with our maintenance free high security garages. The estimated cost of this contract will be in the region of £100,000 and we will complete all of the sites within 6 weeks.
