We recently undertook a project to dismantle and remove the customers existing sectional concrete garage. There was asbestos within the roof sheets and these were correctly dealt with and disposed of.
We then installed the very popular Apex graphite garage and the customer added the Anthracite plank effect finish to the garden side to increase the aesthetic appearance.
We recently undertook a project near Gatwick Airport to dismantle and remove the customers old Brick garage which had suffered subsidence and was close to failing.
After dismantling the garage we provided a new concrete base along with new concrete hardstanding parking spaces adjacent to it. The bases were finished with concrete ramps for vehicular access.
We then installed an Apex Graphite garage which is proving to be very popular as it showcases the new modern Anthracite fascias and window with complimenting black Hormann up and over door.
The building is finished with brick front pillars, black guttering and coloured robust corrugated cement fibre roof sheets.
This building size was 18’1” (5.51mts) x 12’3” (3.73mts) with an overall height of 2.38mts keeping within permitted development and without the need for planning permission.
Have you ever wondered what else a concrete sectional building can be used for instead of a garage, shed or workshop? How about a games room/home bar?
This client of ours had exactly that in mind. With our assistance he ordered a 6mts x 3.5mts (20’1” x 12’3”) concrete building with a pent roof. He added a PVCu single door, PVCu French doors and a couple of PVCu double glazed windows. His intention was to turn his building into an insulated games room/entertaining room.
We advised him to let the building ‘dry out and cure’ for a couple of months before he got to work.
Once the building was ready he battoned out the walls and ceiling, adding insulation and then added plasterboard as the internal finish. Spotlights were added to the ceiling and then all walls and ceiling plastered and decorated.
All the electric’s were added along with a central heating system and radiators.
The floor was also also laid by the customer.
He added plumbing for a sink and toilet area.
I am sure you will agree that the finished result is superb and has created him a brilliant additional space for his family.

If you are looking for a durable, cost effective garage for vehicle storage / workshop / storage then the concrete sectional building is a great choice.
It is much cheaper than the traditional brick built structure, and takes a day to deliver and erect, not months depending on how reliable your builder is.
The concrete garage is also more durable and long lasting than the timber alternative, making it a great choice.
Which type of concrete garage should I choose?
This really depends on your budget and individual taste. The range starts at the standard pent garage, in its most basic form with pressure treated timber fascia’s and window, pictured above.
The pent roof drains from front to rear, so is ideal if you are going tight up to a boundary wall or another garage. A good economical option for a building.
You can stick with the pent design but go for the Pent Royale, with the addition of PVC fascia’s, guttering and window, brick front posts, steel personnel door, Georgian main door (optional) and internal cement fillet, pictured:

We recently undertook a job to replace an old garage with an insulated garden building in South Yorkshire. We dismantled and removed the old garage, broke out the old base and laid a new concrete base specifically for the new building to be installed upon. Working with the client who wanted dry storage we selected a Gold range fully insulated steel framed garden building. The building has 40mm insulated panels to the walls and the roof. The roof has 2 clear skylights for natural light. The fully glazed French doors were selected along with a double glazed window. The colour scheme was Goosewing Grey ribbed cladding with a contrasting but complimenting Anthracite trim, doors, window and gutters. The building size was 4mts long x 3mts wide with an overall height of 2.44mts meaning that planning permission wasn’t required as it fell within permitted development. These buildings are available in any size starting from 3mts x 3mts.
A client approached us looking for a suitable building for her son to run his business from. He makes specialist enclosures for reptiles.
They had an area of their garden that was unused and so we laid them a concrete base.
We then supplied them with a concrete sectional works that measured 2.5mts x 4.3mts with an overall height of under 2.5mts so it could be installed under permitted development without the need for planning permission.
They did not want the multi spar pebbledash finish facing the garden and so we clad the 2 visible sides in Colonial blue plank effect. This colour worked really well with the white PVCu fascias, doors and windows.
The customer arranged their own electrics and internal fit out.
As well as a workshop these buildings are perfect for a home gym, home office, garden room, summer house, home pub or just for standard garden storage.
On this project, we ripped up the old base and replaced it. Then we supplied and fitted a new garage – Apex Royale, 18’1” long x 10’3” wide.
This garage has PVC fascia’s, window and guttering, steel personnel door, cement fillet, coloured roof sheets (the customer chose Brown), Georgian door, brick front posts (the customer chose Cedar Buff).
This customer had already been supplied ten years previously with a concrete shed.
He wanted to put another shed by the side in the corner of his garden.
We came up with a plan to lay a new base and supply a maintenance free concrete building, with steel door, PVC fascia’s, window and guttering, with a cement seal to the bottom of the panels.
In addition to this, we also renovated his existing building to match the new one. We changed the door to a steel personnel door, changed the window and fascia’s to PVC. The end result pretty impressive and these buildings can be used as anything – office, gym, storage, garden room, the options are endless.
We recently under a second job for Carshalton Boys Sports College to install a fully insulated building.
The college were so happy with the first building that was converted into an Art studio that they ordered the exact same building for other uses.
We laid a new concrete base and then installed the Gold range Golden Oak building during the summer holidays.
Again we selected the double 10 point locking security doors and added multiple double glazed windows in a contrasting Anthracite colour.
